Does it matter if my child has never ridden a horse Before?

Not at all.  We have been teaching young beginners for years and take each student at their own speed.  We specialise in teaching children.

 

 


 

Do I need my own Horse?

No, we provide a reliable experienced horse or pony for each rider.

 

 


 

What do I wear?

You will need to wear long pants ie. jodpurs, jeans or leggings. No singlet tops. Please bring a jacket in the cooler weather.

 

 


 

Do I need my own helmet and riding boots?

We are able to lend you a helmet for the first three lessons. We have boots up to size 7 that can also be borrowed for this time.

 

 


 

Are Lessons held during the School Holidays?

Yes, we hold lessons through the whole year. Including Easter, Labour Day, Cup Weekend, Mothers Day, Fathers Day etc...

 

We only break over January.

 

 


 

Can I bring my own horse for lessons?

Yes, you can bring your own horse for private /semi private lessons.

 

 


 

Do Lessons still run if it is raining?

Yes, as we have an indoor arena and all the stables are undercover as well!

 

 


 

What if I miss a Lesson?

We offer one make up lesson per term so you don't fall behind.

 

 


 

What if I cancel a lesson or holiday program?

If we receive more than 48 hours notice and we are able to fill your childs reserved position a full refund will be given.

If we cannot fill your childs position and notice of 48 hours is given a credit voucher will be supplied.

If less than 48 hours notice of a cancellation is received no refund / credit voucher can be supplied.

 

 


 

Do parents need to stay the whole lesson?

No, parents do not have to stay as students are supervised at all times.  We do have a lovely comfortable, quiet & warm Parents Retreat for you to relax in though.
